After reading Mr. Jim Owens’ opinion in the Big Canoe December Smoke Signals, it is clear to many of us that the HOA must do an operational audit of the POA; read Mr. Owens’ opinion located at http://tinyurl.com/smokesignalsjimowens (Mr. Owens is a former POA Board Director and is a longstanding member of the POA Board’s CC&Rs Committee.)
If the HOA refuses, maybe the www.responsiblePOA.com group would step forward and sponsor a group/committee to do an independent operational audit. There are more than enough property owners who are willing to donate money to finance an independent operational audit of the POA.
