In response to the current Smoke Signals On-line article by Barbara Schneider: “Wide ranging issues covered at HOA board meeting - Questions for POA open lively discussion,” one POA Forum poster stated: “After reading the story it seems to me that a better heading would be, “Wide ranging issues skirted at HOA board meeting“.
She goes on to say:
“Our POA officials [Mr. Bob Crouch, POA Board President, attended the meeting] seem to be becoming more and more proficient at not answering questions. Are they preparing for higher level political office. This is Big Canoe - these officials are our neighbors, not our enemies - the questions we ask concern the welfare of the community - Why can’t an honest an open answer be given? It appears that more and more property owners are becoming mistrustful of our elected officials, sad to say. It does seem that the officials are forcing people to feel that way with the “political” attitude they display over and over instead of just answering and acting as an individual who really desires the best for Big Canoe.”
